August 28th 2023 Spoken Views collective Open Mic Monday nights @ Shim's Speakeasy on W. 3rd St. in Reno has a fantastic welcoming vibe for  experienced and emerging writers to practice their work on a live audience. I'll be there!

2nd Wednesdays. Tahoe Backyard in King's Beach hosts a monthly open mic welcoming to all writers of all ages, including children and dogs. The food truck serves up BBQ and the Bear Belly Brewery is open for beers. Chickadee Art Collective displays local art and crafts. I read at the open mic every second Wednesday of the month.
 
Monday, August 14th, 2023 I read at the Shim's speakeasy Monday Night Poetry open mic - join us each Monday 6 pm sign up and prompt writing 6:30 pm open mic begins! Spoken Views Collective mission is to provide a platform and safe spaces for spoken word expression as well as build a community of spoken word artists and poets
